Please visit our main page on asset
label printing.
A label printer can
produce asset identification
labels, which many companies can use along with
government departments, the NHS and other types
of organisations to keep a track on their assets
and prevent theft of property. Asset
labels produced by a label printer are an excellent
method of security and resolve the challenging labour
that many organisations are faced with when attempting
to track and gauge the status of their assets.
A label printer
can produce asset
labels onto numerous materials and to specification
of sizes and designs required. An asset label
printer produces asset
identification labels that are consecutively
numbered and/or bar-coded for use by a number
of different types of organisations.
A label printer can manufacture using the highest
specification material for self adhesive asset
labels, which is semi gloss white ultra destructible
vinyl. Once printed by the label printer and applied
to assets, if removal is attempted the material
fragments into tiny pieces making tampering obvious
and thereby discouraging theft. The
asset labels are suitable for use both inside
and in outside conditions, provided that they
are kept out of direct sunlight. An asset label
printer prints really well onto ultra destructible
vinyl thereby not only making it convenient for
use, but also makes it look aesthetically pleasing.
Once the label printer
has printed the asset labels it is important that
they are correctly applied to a smooth, clean,
dry surface free of moisture, dust, silicon/wax
cleaners etc at room temperature and left for
at least 24 hours for the pressure sensitive adhesive
to cure.
Asset labels provide tighter security for company/organisation
assets and for proof of insurance of items in
a company building, for instance in case of fire.
It is important that asset
labels create a security barrier for discouragement
of theft and fraud of property/assets.
