To do this we must price every job uniquely and the total cost for your job has 3 components:
"One off" origination charges These include your printing plate costs (£20 to £150, typically ££50) and cutters to cut out your exact label size (£30-£250. typically £50). Almost all printed jobs (apart from digitally printed labels) need printing plates. We rarely need to ask for a cutter charge as we have so many in stock from 40 years of trading, but in some circumstances we do. You don't ever pay for origination costs when you repeat the order at a later date.
Costs to print your labelsThese include setup costs and running costs. Setup costs are the same regardless of the length of the job and include the labour and material costs to us of setting up a machine to print your work. The running costs depend on how many labels you want, and comprise material and labour costs to make the labels once setup.
All labels are costed per 1000 labels (£/K), unless the quantity is less than 1000, in which case it is quoted per roll. For example:
2,000 custom printed labels with a red and black logo will cost £50 per K 5,000 process colour labels with a photograph may cost £80 per K 50,000 plain industrial labels for packaging may cost £5 per K
To get an accurate price the first thing to do is to ask for a free, no obligation

We will ask for information on the size, design, quantity and application to give
you our best price and delivery time. It is helpful if you can email artwork to
us in whatever format you have it. We are quite happy to redraw or improve it
for free, or minimal cost as required.
As the UK's leading supplier of short run labels, we have amongst the lowest setup costs and origination
costs in the marketplace as this is our speciality. This inevitably means that
we are uncompetitive on very long run work, so if you are planning to order over
500,000 labels per batch, then we are probably not the supplier for you.
